Our new 55Plus Equity Release logo

It’s hard to believe that just two years ago, 55Plus Equity Release was a sole trader company. Fast forward to March 2020, and we have equity release advisers around the country and are writing a greater volume of equity release business than any other independent firm.
So we felt that we needed to update our logo to reflect the national position we now occupy, while retaining the identity that makes us different from the rest, and which wins us so many referrals from happy clients and professional introducers who know we will look after their clients as well as they would.
Professional, forward-looking – and different!
55Plus Equity Release was set up by our managing director, Jan Johnson, because she wanted to create a company that she would like to work for. One that stood out for building its success on honesty, integrity and putting our clients first, while also being fun and fresh-thinking to work for. Our new logo encapsulates these values, while also reflecting our ambitions to continue to lead the market in the way we do business.
“The font in the new logo is clear, open, yet quirkily distinctive – just like 55Plus Equity Release – with the strongly sloping A and the dynamism of the 5s creating a clear sense of forward momentum,” explains graphic designer Rosie Harris of Girl Friday Graphics. “This is a brand that is not going to stand still!”

Continuity with our previous branding has been maintained through our strong, fresh colours and our bee, who now has an enhanced role.

She sums up our approach: we work hard for our clients, scouring the market to find products that match their requirements and always put their needs first, while as a company we look after all our advisers, professional partners and suppliers,” comments Jan Johnson.
